Well, I moved to Perth in Western Australia a few months ago, for the sunshine. Google told me that it was about double the sunshine hours of any of the major cities in New Zealand. But I swear, it's more like 7 times the sunshine hours of Christchurch...because it is literally sunny everyday. For someone like myself, with skin that is about as white as you get, you may think that my need for sun is a little odd. I do have to avoid sitting in it, but if theres a tree or shade, I love nothing more than the bright golden sunlight - I feel happy all the time! 

I have dreamt another song during the night, and woken in time to record and capture the melodic/chordal/lyrical idea on my mobile phone. That has only happened 3 times in my life, and two of those time in the last few weeks! So whatever is going on, I like it. The other time it happened was a couple of years ago, and it was the song that I gave my mum when she found out she didn't have long to live. She cried when she heard it, so I am really glad that my mobile phone had been on hand to catch that one from my dream. It's called 'Into Tomorrow' and I will record it properly one day I am sure...along with the other long list of songs I have ready and waiting to be recorded. Soon! :)

Music is apparently scientifically proven to light up more parts of the brain than ANYTHING else!!!! So, THAT"S why I feel so amazing when I am making music....all my worries seem to disappear, and BLISS is the only word to describe playing/composing music! I have written 10 brand new songs so far towards my next album, and am really looking fowards to writing another couple....writing a new song is like heaven on earth for me...
